Spread out, not hidden
Most healthcare operations problems are not hidden. They are spread out. A denial close to its appeal deadline sits on one screen. The unsigned note that will hold the next claim sits on another. An authorization about to run out sits on a third. The eligibility check that would have prevented last month's denials belongs to a different team entirely.
The Action Center puts that work in one list, in the header of every ArkCloud product.
What it finds
Fixed rules run over your organization's own records every 15 minutes, and again when you open the page. They look for:
- denials near their appeal deadline, denials nobody has worked, and claims rejected before adjudication;
- notes waiting for a signature or co-signature, plans of care due for review or certification, and progress reports due;
- authorizations expiring or used up, and booked visits that eligibility, coverage, authorization or credentials will not cover;
- services and charges that never became claims;
- referrals and registrations stalled at the front desk;
- missed visits with nothing booked since;
- overdue care follow-ups, and post-discharge follow-ups past their deadline;
- expired or expiring staff credentials, and overdue onboarding steps.
Each finding shows how many records it covers and the money recorded on them, with links to the records themselves. You see findings only for the products you can open.
It routes work to the team that prevents it
An eligibility denial is recorded in billing but is usually prevented at the front desk, so it appears in Access as well as RCM. A clinician whose license lapsed cannot sign notes, so Rehab and Clinical see it as well as Workforce. A missed visit with nothing rebooked is seen by the front desk, the treating team and care coordination.
People decide
Anyone can acknowledge a finding or take it. Supervisors assign it to someone else, and only supervisors dismiss it. Resolving a finding records a reason; if the rule later finds more items than when it was resolved, it reopens by itself. Every step is recorded in the finding's history and in the organization's audit log.
Where AI helps
Two optional assists use ArkCloud's own model server on its private network. Explain this finding says what the rule found and the first step, using only that finding's counts, amounts and dates. Brief me turns your highest findings into a few sentences, in the order the rules already set. Neither reads the records behind a finding, every figure is checked against the finding before it is shown, and neither can reorder, score or change anything. Ask ArkCloud can also answer "what needs my attention?" from the same findings, without a model.
What it does not do
It does not predict, score patients or staff, or act on its own. It never sends messages or changes a claim, a note or a balance. Findings come from rules, and the screen says so. See every AI feature and its status on AI Across ArkCloud Health, read how ArkCloud uses AI across the healthcare journey, or see how a referral becomes an episode of care, where the stalled-referral rule starts.
